Abstract
Analysis of Employee Satisfaction
This Bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of employee satisfaction in the Šternberk Hospital. The aim is to determine the causes of increased staff fluctuation, concretely the fluctuation of general nurses, in the selected department of the organization. The thesis is divided into several parts, the first section provides basic theoretical concepts concerning the issue of motivation, job satisfaction, factors of job satisfaction and the factors influencing job satisfaction and dissatisfaction at work, focusing on staff fluctuation. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part, which makes use of the survey analysis of employee satisfaction. The analysis is focused on working conditions, staff management and relations with other employees, training and professional growth, employee care and other factors that may affect both the performance of the employee and their motivation and job satisfaction. Based on the results of the analysis, recommendations are suggested, that could increase employee job satisfaction and thus eliminate any staff fluctuation.
