Abstract

The main aim of this thesis is to compare the lobbying of the Czech Republic in the European Union with other EU member countries. In the theoretical part of the thesis are described lobbying actors and their activities in the framework of theoretical models of legal regulation. This is closely linked to interest groups, which are also described in detail in the thesis. The theoretical framework leads to the fulfillment of the main goal of the thesis. Based on the given professional definitions and their incorporation into the relevant theoretical model of legal regulation, the comparison of lobbying of the Czech Republic in the EU is compared with lobbying of other member states. The empirical part focuses mainly on the ways in which lobbying is regulated in individual EU countries, what lobbying organizations operate in the European Union or what their lobbying costs are.
