Abstract

This bachelor thesis is concerned with the warning alarm beacon on vehicles of the Police of the Czech Republic. It deals with the legal regulations of this subject matter and also with physical properties of light. The thesis serves as an outline of the development of the warning alarm beacons and types of beacons that are currently used by the police. It also deals with foreign practice of these beacons and I provide their comparison. The thesis comprises the evaluation of the propriety of the coloured design of the warning alarm beacon.
