Evropská unie a problematika terorismu

Abstract

Cílem této diplomové práce je představit a popsat problematiku terorismu v rámci Evropské unie, poukázat na vliv terorismu v kontextu bezpečnostní politiky Evropské unie a zhodnotit hlavní dokumenty, které s terorismem bezprostředně souvisejí. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola je věnována základním pojmům souvisejících s problematikou terorismu, dále budou uvedeny metody terorismu, jeho aktuální vývojové trendy a oblast financování terorismu. Ve druhé kapitole je popsán historický vývoj terorismu a počátky moderního terorismu v Evropě. Třetí kapitola je věnována Evrospké unii a současnému mezinárodnímu terorismu. V závěrečné kapitole jsou také uvedeny dva nejzávažnéjší teroristické útoky, které proběhly v Madridu v roce 2004 a v Londýně v roce 2005.

The aim of this Diploma Thesis is to introduce and to describe the issue of terrorism within the European Union, point out influence of terrorism in the context of security policy in the European Union and assess the main documents directly relations to terrorism. The Diploma Thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is addicted to basic concepts issues related to terrorism, furthermore, the methods of terrorism, its expansion current trends and terrorist financing. The second chapter describes historical evolution of terrorism and the beginnings of modern terrorism in Europe. The third chapter is addicted to the European Union and the current international terrorism. In the last chater, there are also two the most important terrorist attacks, which took place in Madrid in 2004 and in London in 2005.
