Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to determine the differences in the regulation of advertising in public and commercial television. In the theoretical part are defined basic concepts, such as advertising, legal regulation of advertising and broadcasting. It is also gradually analyzed the function of both public and commercial television. There is also explication the regulation of advertising in each medium separately. In the practical part are compared all differences, which were found. Emphasis is placed specifically to situations in which it is even possible to include advertising in the broadcast. The results of examination of various aspects are interpreted using the final evaluation. The resources that were used to develop this thesis, especially among professional publications and current legislation related to this topic.
