Abstract

The medical and biomedical development is growing up very fast, nowadays. That is why it is possible to improve the methods and techniques of patient diagnostics and therapy. The objective is to provide the most effective health care and at the same time minimalist patient stress. It often leads to miniaturizing and portability of medical instruments to offer patients as much comfort as possible. The careful diagnostics of patient health condition is a basis of a good treatment. This thesis describes a proposal and a realization of a mini ECG device, especialky its analog part. The conversion of the analog signal to the digital one is made by a measuring equipment with an A/D convertor. Another part of the thesis is about proposal and realization of a software for displaying measured signals on the PC. This measuring chain is used for a laboratory measurement where students should display signals of heart and muscles activity and signals caused by blinking, too.
