Abstract

This bachelor's thesis examines the Czech Republic Pension Reform that will come into action in the year 2013. The goal of this thesis is to examine and explain the changes in the Czech pension system, both the ones that have already occurred in the past, as well as the ones that will come into action in 2013.The first part of this thesis consists of an examination of following topics - social politics, pension insurance history, pension systems in general and demographic issues. The second part examines and explains the current pension system and elaborates on its future changes. The final part presents the analysis and the discussion of results of this examination of the Czech pension system.
