Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with fire requirements for railway tunnels designed for highspeed lines. In the first part, countries and their regulations dealing with fire safety design principles for railway tunnels were introduced and in the second part these principles were described. The third part presented the fire safety principles developed by the Railway Administration. In the last part, based on these descriptions of the regulations, the design principles of fire safety are presented. The bachelor thesis is a summary of fire safety principles in railway tunnels designed on high-speed lines.
