Abstract
The aim of the diploma thesis is to calculate the luminous flux radiated into the upper half-space
from the public lighting system. This calculation is performed via a spherical network of calculation
points in the Building Design software. For the calculation, I created a 3D model of the Ostrava-Poruba
district, which I fitted with public lighting fixtures. The result of the calculation is the proportion of
direct and indirect luminous flux radiated into the upper half-space.
