Abstract
Bachelor thesis analyzes the principle of synchronized manual transmission. The work also includes production technologies of gears and used types of materials with the possibility of their heat and chemical-heat treatment. In the practical part, the dismantling of transmission from Citroen-Berlingo car was performed and the metallographic and chemical analyses of gears materials were made.
