Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with one of the many areas of crime and the problems of insurance fraud. It focuses on meeting with their detection and investigation. Insurance fraud is a new phenomenon of our time and based on the current state of modern society. In the introductory chapters dealing with a brief description of the concept of economic crime, basic concepts, principles of insurance with a graphic analysis of insurance fraud. Having taken note of the possible ways and forms of insurance fraud, I have focused on the well-known methods for detecting and documenting how the various police forces, as well as specific departments within the framework of insurance companies. Other chapters are devoted to preventive and repressive action on the field of insurance fraud. Focus work suggests that, in particular, for insurance fraud in recent years established a growing level of professionalism of the perpetrators, different ways of committing this crime. Furthermore, because affects almost all areas of insurance, both in the Czech Republic and worldwide.
