Abstract

The thesis deals with the issue of ensuring the fire safety of immovable cultural monuments. In the introductory part the classification of immovable cultural monuments is presented and the most common causes of fire are introduced. Main part of the thesis deals with particular suggestions for ensuring the fire safety, with a contribution of both passive and active components of fire safety. The closing part deals with ensuring the fire safety of protected cultural monuments in the Wallachian Open Air Museum in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm.
