Komparace odpadového hospodářství vybraných obcí

Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the approaches of Šumperk and Zábřeh cities to ensure waste management including collection, transportation, sorting, utilization and disposal costs for the period 2011–2015. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the function of the municipality in waste management and the legislative background of the given issue. The work compares the waste management system of both cities according to the implementation of the waste management plan, the organization and quality of the provided services and the rate of the municipal waste collection fee. It also focuses on the overall production of waste, its disposal, sorting and potential re-use. An integral part of the work is the comparison of the revenue and expenditure of both cities associated with the waste management.
