Abstract
Purpose of this thesis is insight to basic theory of electromagnetic fields, with focus on magnetism. The thesis provides information and introduction to properties and measurement of permanent magnets. The experimental part of this work deals with the measurement of the magnetic field and its individual elements in the vicinity of permanent magnets. In the framework of this thesis appropriate measuring device, was developed.
