Abstract
The main purpose of this bachelor thesis is Competitiveness Evaluation of a Wine Producer against its competitors and industry using specific methods for evaluation. The bachelor thesis consists of three chapters. After introducing the topic and focus of this bachelor thesis in the opening, the reader continues to the first chapter. This chapter is solely theoretical, it discusses competitive ability and its features, and it characterizes competitiveness methods. The family wine making business is depicted in detail in the following chapter. In the third chapter, I apply the previously discussed benchmarking methods to evaluate the wine producer’s competitive ability in the market. Based on the findings in the bachelor thesis suggests recommendations for the wine maker which will result in overall improvement and stronger competitive ability in the market. In its conclusion, this bachelor thesis recapitulates the issues, findings and recommendations discussed.
