Parkoviště na ulici Slámova v Ostravě-Michálkovicích

Abstract

The content of this bachelor thesis is to develop three variants of parking for residential buildings on the Slámova street in Ostrava-Michálkovice. These options will take into account the movement of pedestrians and traffic calming needed in that area. Current status of parking areas for road vehicles considering the number of parking units is inadequate. The arrangement of existing roads in the vicinity of residential buildings is also unsatisfactory, due to the increased movement of pedestrians in the locality. These design options ignore restrictions arising from the current location of utility lines. the most appropriate option will be elaborated to the level corresponding with technical study. There are 50 pages of text and 9 pages of schemes.
