Abstract
The topic of this bachelor thesis is Analysis of Recruitment to the Police Forces of the Olomouc District. The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the current recruitment process of the Olomouc County Police Department and to propose possible innovations that could improve the current process. The first part of the bachelor thesis is devoted to the theoretical concept of human resource management, which needs to be clarified to understand the issue. The theoretical part also includes sociological research. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the description of the Police of the Czech Republic and the description of the departments that make it up. Furthermore, the practical part details the process of recruiting officers to the police force. Subsequently, a questionnaire survey was conducted to examine the officers' views on the recruitment process they went through. The thesis concludes with suggestions and recommendations that could improve the current recruitment process.
