Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with using of information technology for persons with spinal cord injury. Introduction describes the issue of information technology with a focus of facilitating work on the PC, assistive devices for people with spinal cord injuries and also brief characteristic of various spinal lesions. Next part of the thesis deals with restrictions job placement of persons with spinal cord lesions and also level of life of disabled people. The experimental part of the thesis deals with the creation questionnaire. It focuses on the knowledge and use of handicapped persons of special information technology and assistive devices. The questionnaire also addresses issue to employment of persons with spinal cord injury. The results of the questionnaire were evaluated, recommended ICT for the physically handicapped and the risks and benefits of the proposal.
