Vliv přípravy částic jílových minerálů na sorpční vlastnosti jílových minerálů

Abstract

Natural vermiculite modified by organic cations, i.e. hexadecylammonium cation, is very good sorptive material for non-polar organic compounds from aqueous and gas phases. It can be used for removal of these compounds from waste water and gas during their treatment in technological processes. This work was aimed to study of influence of size and particle preparation method on modification process with organic cation. The size fraction of vermiculite particles were prepared by using of sedimentation process and jet milling. The prepared vermiculites were converted into sodium form and consequently into organically modified form. Modifications were done in different time and organic carbons contents were analysed.
