Abstract

This thesis concerns solving of the problem of air flow induced by naturally cooling of the surface of high-voltage cable. Thesis is divided into eleven chapters. In Chapter 1 and 2 will be paid conductors and manifesting effects of electric current. In Chapter 3, mention a possible reason for the settlement of such simulations, one of the reasons is accelerate the degradation processes of insulations. In the fourth chapter we mention ways of imposing cables. In Chapter 5 is a summary of the theory of flow in process of cooling. In Chapters 6 and 7 summarize the creation of the model and data input for the calculation. Chapter 8, approaches the use of calculation methods for the simulations. In Chapter 9, we mention of the calculation. In the tenth chapter we will describe the simple case of one cable cooling and will review difference between theoretical calculations and simulations. In chapter eleven we create an assessment of the results.
