Abstract

This thesis describes the issue of the Internet of Things, its use and application in a hierarchical system. Further the work processes each level of corporate information systems and describes the data from their perspective. An important part of the thesis is a summary of the functionality of the data lifecycle, re-using collected data and archiving. The thesis also deals with the selected practical examples of the application of the Internet of Things.
