Revitalizace areálu bývalého učiliště Fláje

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the revitalization of the former forestry vocational school complex in Fláje and its transformation into a modern hotel facility with a wellness center, swimming pool, restaurant, and conference spaces. The aim of the study is to analyze the possibilities of utilizing this brownfield while considering sustainability, economic feasibility, and legislative constraints related to its location within a protected water zone. The research examines the architectural and construction aspects of the historical building’s reconstruction, the design of appropriate infrastructure, and the potential impacts on tourism and regional development. The outcome of this thesis is a conceptual revitalization proposal that integrates ecological, economic, and social aspects of sustainable development.
