Abstract

Annotation The first part of the diploma thesis is a general description of brick production, which is followed by a detailed description of the technology used in the Heluz Libochovice brickwork. Furthermore, the following subchapters describe both the basic concepts and their meaning, so materials, which are commonly used to prepare brick dough. The following chapter is devoted to the characteristic description of various alternative secondary raw materials, which can be used in production. These are substances with suitable properties to be used in the basic composition, or as a substitute for any of the ingredients used. The next part describes the system, such as the tests carried out on the dried drawer and the fired brick. The penultimate chapter includes lessons and evaluating the results of the whole issue in the form of a discussion.
