Hydrokeramika jako alternativní nízkoenergetický pojivový systém

Abstract

Dissertation thesis deals with the evaluation of the suitability of granulated alkali activators for activation of granulated blast furnace slag and fly ash. Within the frame of preliminary experiments three types of granulated alkali activators were tested for activation of granulated blast furnace slag without their initial dissolution in water. Mixing water which is necessary for hydration processes at these systems is added subsequently after the mechanical mixture of solid alkali activator and GVS (or selected byproduct) is prepared. Based on the results of the preliminary experiment the alkali activator showing the best mechanical properties was selected and tested for activation of the mixtures of GVS with fly ash. Within the frame of this set of experiments the hydration processes were studied with help of the methods of chemical and phase analysis, scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive microanalysis was used for observation of hardened structures. Within the last part of the work the suitability of alkali activated systems as matrices for photocatalytically active composites kaolinite/TiO2 was tested. The photocatalytical efficiency of prepared samples was tested using photodegradation of nitric oxides.
