Abstract
My bachelor work is focused on financial analysis of the company. It consists of four main parts. The content of the first part is a description of the basic principles and methods that are used in financial analysis. They are absolute indicators analysis and ratio analysis. The following part presents the company Jan Becher - Karlovarská Becherovka, a.s., the chapter is devoted also to the company’s business and its ownership and organizational structure. The third part deals with the using of selected methods in practice for the period 2008 - 2010. The aim of this work is to determine the economic situation of the company, identify its strengths and weaknesses and in the case of adverse deviations, to recommend measures for their elimination.
