Abstract

In the theoretical part of the diploma thesis the development and application of creep resistant steel in energetics is described. The thesis is focused on the P92 steel and describes its mechanical properties, chemical composition, manufacturing technology, heat treatment and its impact on the microstructure. The creep resistant properties of (9-12) % Cr alloyed steel and the degradation mechanisms of welded joints are also described. In the experimental part of the thesis the results of creep tests of P92 steel are discussed. It also deals with the determining of fracture locations of weld joints and changes of microhardness and microstructure during creep.
