Abstract
This thesis is a study of Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight technologies. It considers audio and video streaming possibilities using those technologies. It describes all audio/video transfer possibilities as well as functionality and capabilities of streaming servers and all the necessary essentials to start the streaming up, from video encoding to implementation of client application for playback.
