Stanovení bezpečnostních rizik u poštovních doručovatelů České pošty, a. s.

Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to determine the risk factors in the Czech Postal Service associated with the delivery of mail, and to analyze these factors from a hierarchical point of view to provide the necessary measures to be taken in order to decrease the exposure of postmen to such risks. The thesis will include both theoretical and applied research. The theoretical part is aimed at the legal background regulating the Czech postal service as well as its past and current status. The applied part conducts a statistical study of the work accidents occurred during the delivery of mail for a period of five years. The data will be analyzed by month having as factors the time of service, the age of the employees (postmen).The next points will be directed to the causes and sources of the accidents and method to evaluate the assessment risks. Moreover, it gives a look at the protection equipment used by postmen and propose to improve or increase its accesibility in order to reduce to a minimum the risk factors associated with mail delivery. The thesis will include a final section with the recomendations and measures suggested to decrease the risk factors, and a summary of the reaserch.
