Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with highspeed rail transportation in the Czech republic and in the world. The introduction of the theoretical part is devoted to the history of the most important highspeed railways in the world and the history of czech faster trains. In this part I analysis advantages and disadvantages of the highspeed railways. The thesis is further about the perspective of highspeed transportation in Europe, linear engines.
