Konverze průmyslové haly na kavárnu

Abstract

The bachelor thesis "Conversion of Industrial Hall to Cafe Bar" deals with the conversion of existing premises in Ostrava Hrušov into a coffee bar. The project is based on the city planning architectonic study within the studio/atelier production III. and on the architectonic study within the studio/atelier production IV. The project is solved in the extent of the partial documentation for executing the construction in accordance with the assignment of the bachelor thesis. As the architectonic detail there is presented the arrangement of the internal staircase. The thesis also focuses on the interior of the main part of the coffee bar. The aim of the thesis was a transformation of the existing premises with regard to its industrial appearance. The concept of the solution is based on the simple and well arranged disposition. The preservation of the original facade integrates the building into the historical context of the area and represents the characteristic features of the city of Ostrava.
