Belgie a její role v evropském integračním procesu

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide more complex insight into participation of Belgium in the European integration process and on the role which it has played during this process. The bachelor thesis includes three main chapters. The first chapter is devoted to generalized characteristics of the country and there are mentioned also several factors which have predetermined the future integration orientation of Belgium. The second chapter focuses on description of Belgian entering into integration and international organisations finishing in creation of the European Union. Positions description of particular political parties towards the process belongs to this chapter too. The third chapter deals with characterization of current Belgian position in the European Union. This chapter consists also from description of present Belgian representation in EU bodies, position of the country within EU budget or long-term national problems introduction. Very important part of the chapter is a processed questionnaire which can provide truthful information about opinion of Belgians on integration process.
