Abstract

The aim of my bachelor work was to find out how satisfied the citizens of Frenštát pod Radhoštěm are with the services of the local council, and that especially in the sphere of culture and sports. I was finding out about the satisfaction of the citizens with a help of marketing research, through a questionnaire survey. The results arising from the marketing research should serve the town council as a basis for improving the state of the cultural and sports facilities in the town. With the problem fields, I suggested a solution of how to increase the quality of the facilities, ways of providing services and their propagation, as well. In the introductory part of my bachelor work, I devote myself to a characteristic of the town of Frenštát pod Radhoštěm, to the history and the marketing environment of the urban area. In the next part, I describe the satisfaction, value for the customer and a marketing mix of towns and urban areas. The last part of the work is practical and it is aimed at methodics and implementation of the marketing research, and next, there are the results of the questionnaire survey and suggestions and recommendations of how to improve the state of the cultural and sports facilities in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm described.
