Abstract

This thesis focuses on the design concept of the city sewerage systems in the town of Petřvald. To get familiar with the issue I devided the thesis into two main parts, namely the theoretical and the practical. In the introduction of the theoretical part there are briefly described the history and the characteristics of Petřvald. There is also described the currect state of sanitation, the hydrological situation in the area and identification of problems. There are also elaborated in detail the legal and technical principles, especially the basic principles and ways to address the design of sewer networks, methods of removing sewage water, sewer pipe materials, etc. The practical part is focused on the design concept of sewerage systems. where the goal was to choose the best possible solution, which is further supported by drawing documentation, ie.: situations hydrotechnical situation, longitudinal profiles of major and minor sewers and appropriate hydro technical calculations.It also includes a preliminary estimate of the financial cost of the proposed construction of sewerage.
