Abstract

This thesis analyzes the present system of production and sales of steel mine supports. The aim of the work is to determine the critical points of the production flow, which affects the overall production time and to propose solutions to them. For sales analysis of steel mine supports for 2009 – 2013 years will be used internal data of the steel company ArcelorMittal Ostrava, a.s. and for production analysis will be used internal data of plant 65. The aim of the work will also be an adequate strategy that will strengthen the competitiveness of the product. The result will propose recommendations and solutions that enhance the efficiency and output mining profiles and improve overall product sales. The proposed improvements will be assessed from a technical and economic point of view.
