Thesis called ,,City block - Karlín" is based on the project developed within the subject Architecture studio III., where the development concept of location of the Rohanský island in Prague, district Karlín, was drawn up based on the information obtained. Part of the design is creating a new waterfront of the Vltava river, where a public space of the city for recreation residents, not only of the given city district, will be created. The actual subject of the thesis is the city block, that contains various forms of housing, namely residential and affordable housing. The object also includes commercial premises and underground parking.
