Abstract
The present thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part focuses on composite nanomaterials, their definition, properties, and methods of their preparation. Furthermore, it discusses the surface properties of nanoparticles with focus on zeta-potential and surface charge. The second (experimental) part is a preparation of particles of composite materials by means of mechanochemical synthesis. Prepared samples were subsequently characterized by scanning electron microscopy. They were characterized by measuring the particle size distribution by a particle analyser, which uses diffraction of laser light. The conclusion of the present thesis characterizes the zeta potential of nanomaterials and discusses the results.
