Abstract
Subject of the thesis is to design and assess masonry construction of farm building according to CSN EN 1996-1-1. Masonry structures are designed from aerated concrete blocks and stone. The results of both structures will be compared and evaluated. The work includes the design and construction of the roof structure, including a detailed static model. Assessments were performed according to EN 1995-1-1. Next thing this thesis deals with is the entire model of farm building and model of a reinforcing ring that includes the design and assessment of steel reinforcement. Both models were created in Scia Engineer. The last point covered in this paper is design and assessment of ceiling structure and foundation structure. These reports were mainly calculated using EN 1992-1-1.
