Abstract
This thesis deals with the activities of the Fire & Rescue Unit of the Czech Fire & Rescue Service, with its position in the structure of the Czech Fire & Rescue Service, its equipment, options of use, evaluation of experiences with rescue actions and with the prospects of its further development. A special section is devoted to the real possibility of deploying
the Fire & Rescue Unit for particular, selected activities. Appendices of this work consist
of a catalogue of technology of the Fire & Rescue Unit, index cards of type activities
of the Fire & Rescue Unit of the Czech Fire & Rescue Service and arrival times of selected teams in the Czech Republic.
