Abstract

The thesis deals with quantities affecting the explosion. Primarily, the influence of initial pressure to the explosion reaction, application with venting and tests in large volumes. Firstly, I describe the explosion reaction and influences that affect it. The next part of the thesis describes the most important dust separator in terms of use of the isolation flap valves. The following part describes technical parameters of valves and comparison of type from different manufactures. The experimental part of the thesis deals with the measurement of fire safety parameters selected dusts. The main part of the thesis evaluates the standard norm for tests of explosion flaps with respect to the effect of initial pressure in the tests. The outcome of the theses is the evaluation of the influence of the initial pressure on process of testing.
