E-government - modernizace veřejné správy

Abstract

This diploma work is concerned with using the e-government as a tool for the modernization of public service. The basic goal of the e-government is to transform and simplify the processes within public service through the utilization of the modern comunnication technologies. These technologies are able to create a totally new portfolio of functions for public service, which basically simplify the communication of the citizens and the companies within public service and also between the subjects of public service and one another. The opening chapter concentrates on the description of the e-government and its functions followed by the description of the current situation of the e-government which is taking place within the Czech republic. In the next chapter an analysation of the implementation of this tool on the municipality of Kadaň is made. Finally, in conclusion, the future of the e-government within the Czech republic is reviewed.
