Abstract

The theoretical part of the thesis deals with an analysis of technological equipment in terms of its application, the possibility of harm to humans and the use of personal protective equipment. The greatest attention is paid to the measurement of the acoustic load. The thesis includes description of the sound meter, an overview of the weighting filters for different spectral noise measurements and description of the techniques used in the noise measurement. The practical part focuses on the acoustic load measurement of two different HELJ devices: firstly the high-flow HELJ, representing the outdoor applications, and secondly the equipment, currently most commonly used in indoor applications. The results of measurement are analyzed and compared with the legislation of the CR. This part furthermore deals with the verification of one of the hypotheses expressed in the bachelor thesis, evaluating and comparing the results of HELJ noise in two laboratories: the Liquid Jet Laboratory of Technical University of Ostrava and the Institute of Geonics of Academy of Sciences of Czech Republic.
