Vliv znečištění prostředí na výkon důlních chladičů větrů

Abstract

The thesis assesses how much influence the polluted mining environment has on the operation of wind coolers and how dustiness can affect the cooling performance of the coolers. Central air conditioning facilities have been built at OKD mines to improve microclimatic conditions. Sectional wind coolers are used to cool interest areas, which are connected to central air conditioning facilities by means of piping thrusts. Air conditioning creates a favourable working environment for us in workplaces and serves to use working hours efficiently, there are no economic losses during mining due to adverse microclimatic conditions. However, due to dust imperfect maintenance, the cooling performance of the coolers is gradually reduced. On the four wind coolers located in the OKD area, I used a thermal imaging camera to measure the temperature and demonstrated that regular maintenance is a prerequisite for full operation of coolers. I pointed out the shortcomings in the maintenance of the cooling units and the result is the design of technical retrofitting of coolers and the installation of additional sprays for maintenance of wind coolers, which will lead to optimal operation of coolers with unaltered cooling performance and thus improvement of microclimatic conditions at mine works.
