Využití "single stream" při nakládání s komunálním odpadem

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of municipal waste and its effective sorting systems, with a special emphasis on the "single stream" recycling system and the introduction of the OZO Ostrava company, which is the only one in the Czech Republic to have implemented this recycling system as part of a pilot project. The thesis further describes the waste treatment process at the sorting line in Kunčice and focuses on advanced technologies, such as the GAINnext™ sorting system from TOMRA, which uses artificial intelligence and deep learning to optimize the sorting process. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of individual sorting systems, identify key factors of their success and point out the possibilities of applying effective models in the conditions of the Czech Republic.
