Abstract

The bachelor’s paper deals with marketing research of recycling possibility of ArcelorMittal Ostrava by-products. The aim of the work was to determine if selected metallurgical by-products (mainly slags from secondary metallurgy and ladle furnace dust) can be recycled, either in the metallurgy, or for other purposes, for example in the construction. The thesis is divided into 3 main chapters. Chapter 2 describes the principle of solidification and pelletizing of dust particles. In chapter 3 there is characterized the product market research. Chapter 4 contains suggestions and recommendations on the basis of the results of marketing research.
