Abstract

Good performance of a company is very important nowadays, because present economy is variable and companies must find every advantage that they can use in their favor over other competitive companies. Therefore, it is important to evaluate their business performance and find their strengths as well as weaknesses. This work deals with the analysis of financial situation of Ritmex Ltd. throughout the past 5 years. The theoretical part explains terms as financial performance, financial analysis, its resources, users and methods. The practical part focuses on application of methods such as horizontal analysis, vertical analysis, ratios and value, credibility models and bankruptcy models. This work also proposes recommendations, which should lead to improvement of the poor financial situation of the company.
