Abstract

This thesis deals with the study of the kinetics of biosorption using chemically activated and non-activated orange peel as potential biosorbents for the removal of sulfate ions from aqueous solutions. Orange peel mechanically, chemically and thermally processed and divided into three grain size classes. The chemical activation of orange peel was used two reagents, and hydrochloric acid at a concentration of 1 mol / l and sodium hydroxide at a concentration of 1 mol / l. In the practical part of the work shows the process of editing biosorbents orange peel and the results and conclusions of the study adsorption kinetics.
