Kypr – ostrov bohyně Afrodité a mědi

Abstract

Tato bakalářské práce je zaměřena na středomořský ostrov Kypr, na jeho geologickou historii, genezi vzniku ložisek mědi, pak také na její těžbu a zpracování. S tím souvisí i historie ostrova v souvislosti s ostatními středomořskými národy. První část pojednává o geografii Kypru, jeho současné politické situaci a také o tom, co ostrov představuje z hlediska současného turistického ruchu. Druhá část je soustředěna na jeho tisíce let dlouhou historii. Třetí část ukazuje Kypr z hlediska jeho geologického vzniku. Na to navazuje čtvrtá, nejobsáhlejší část týkající se především mědi, jejího geologického vzniku na ostrově, její těžby a zpracování. V závěru najdeme shrnutí historického významu a postavení Kypru ve Středomoří, jeho vliv na civilizační vývoj této oblasti a také jeho současný výhled do budoucna.

This bachelor thesis is focused on Cyprus, the Mediterranean island, its geological history, genesis of the origin of copper deposits, also on its extraction and processing. It is connected with the history of the island in context with the rest of the Mediterranean nations. The first part deals with the geography of Cyprus, its present political situation and also with the notion of the island in term of turism. The second part is focused on thousands years of its history. The third part presents Cyprus in term of its geological origin. It is followed by the fourth, most extensive part particularly concentrated on copper, its geological origin, extraction and processing. In conclusion we can find the summary of the position of the island in the Mediterranean in individual phases of its historical development., its influence on the civilization development of the area and also its present prospect into the future.
