Abstract

The diploma work deals with gaining of titan from primary and secondary materials. The work is devided into three parts. The firs part describes titan as an element, its detection, location in nature and production, and describes ilmenite and rutile which include titan. The second part is focused on gaining of titan from primary materials and its modification for another application.The next part describes possibility of gaining titan from secondary materials, its market price in the world and some information about the future.
