The presented bachelor's thesis provides a foundation for preparing for extraordinary events or crisis situations through a comprehensive overview of the Business Continuity Management System in a manufacturing company. The first part describes the current state of research in the area of Business Continuity. The following sections focus on introducing the principles and challenges associated with implementing a Business Continuity Management System. The next part outlines the basic steps for conducting a Business Impact Analysis. The main focus is on analyzing a specific manufacturing company and applying the Business Continuity Management System framework. The final section presents the results of the Business Impact Analysis and risk assessment, taking into account both external and internal factors.
