Vybrané bezpečnostní hrozby a rizika v Evropské unii

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá bezpečnostními hrozbami a riziky v Evropské unii. Cílem diplomové práce je charakterizovat a zhodnotit současné bezpečnostní hrozby a rizika v Evropské unii se zaměřením na terorismus a negativní aspekty migrace jako důsledek regionálních konfliktů. Evropská unie přijala několik bezpečnostních strategií, které tyto hrozby definovaly a určily jak s nimi bojovat. První hrozbou je terorismus a další z hrozeb je nelegální migrace, která je následkem selhání států a regionálních konfliktů. Evropská unie se potýká s nebývalým počtem nelegálních migrantů i s rostoucím počtem teroristických útoků. V posledních dvou letech se na území EU staly tři teroristické útoky a bylo zjištěno celkem 1,8 milionů pokusů o nelegální překročení Schengenské hranice.

The diploma thesis deals with security threats and risks in the European Union. The objective of the thesis is to evaluate current security threats and risks in the European Union focusing on terrorism and the negative aspects of migration as a result of regional conflicts. The European Union adopted several safety strategies which define these threats and which identify how to fight them. The first threat is terrorism and next threat is illegal migration which is the result of states failure and regional conflicts. European Union faces enormous numbers of illegal migrants and growing number of terrorist attacks. In the past two years were three terrorist attacks in the EU and was found out about 1,8 millions attempts to illegal crossing the Schengen border.
